They make 100% sense, despite their lengthy run times. Take a day off and watch them all (not the extended cuts - I'm not interested in 4 hour films, either). Fast-forward if you must through the terminally long (yet still cool) battles, but give 'em a shot already.Fletchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17299302086449086987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8320445662682221360.post-16832783038053771562009-12-14T18:53:55.682-08:002009-12-14T18:53:55.682-08:00You will be confused alright. The creators don't even know what the heck they wanted to do either.

I HIGHLY recommend the original though. The Man-Cavehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18148994596635513600noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8320445662682221360.post-42289148080395647132009-12-14T09:19:13.751-08:002009-12-14T09:19:13.751-08:00Nope - I've only seen parts of them on SyFy ne...Nope - I've only seen parts of them on SyFy network. I'm sure I'd be lost - they look pretty involved.JLGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14959744548487866023noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8320445662682221360.post-73320143213860944352009-12-13T19:49:34.887-08:002009-12-13T19:49:34.887-08:00Haha great post JLG. But the franchise that confuses me the most is the Highlander film franchise.

Ever watch those? They suck after the awesome first one but those films are whacked out as far as continuity goes. I'd try to explain it to you but then this comment would become a novel. The Man-Cavehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18148994596635513600noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8320445662682221360.post-23806988973812371052009-12-13T13:58:39.553-08:002009-12-13T13:58:39.553-08:00I love the original Halloween - it's a really ...I love the original Halloween - it's a really great movie. And some of the sequels are pretty good too. The continuity and origin is where I get lost. I'd love for you to explain it Becky!!JLGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14959744548487866023noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8320445662682221360.post-46675108293374119272009-12-13T12:58:33.112-08:002009-12-13T12:58:33.112-08:00Definitely understand the confusion with the Conan...Definitely understand the confusion with the Conan ones. No, Red Sonja is different, but it's in the same mythology.

Mad Max came before Road Warrior, and Thunderdome was the last one. The first two are really great films, you should give them a dedicated watch.

Halloween is my favorite film, so I could make a super long comment, but I won't. Let's just face it. Horror sequels don't really care about series chronology/continuity.B-Movie Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09301865641232633502noreply@blogger.com
